Receptionist

Position: Receptionist

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional and motivated Receptionist to join our reputable law firm.

Typical Work Activities:

  • Answering incoming calls promptly and courteously.
  • Directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Taking accurate message when necessary.
  • Welcome clients and visitors to the law firm with a warm and professional demeanour.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring that it is tidy and conducive to a professional atmosphere.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing meeting room bookings as needed.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and processing mail as required.
  • Communicate and coordinate service providers when necessary.
  • Maintain and update client databases and contact lists with accurate information.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments within the firm when required.

Key Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist/administrative role, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a polite and articulate phone manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with office equipment such as photocopiers, overhead projectors and multimedia scanning.
  • Team orientated.

Law Clerk

Job Description: Law Clerkship Program at WRP Legal & Advisory (6-month contract).

Position: Law Clerk

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our law firm on a 6 month clerkship.

Typical Work Activities:

  • Legal research.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence.
  • Reporting and engaging directly with senior practitioners.
  • Assisting with commercial transactions.
  • Attending mediations, conciliations and court proceedings.
  • Filing documents with registries including the Land Titles Office SA and Court Registries.
  • Legal administrative duties and responsibilities.

Key Attributes:

  • Currently in your penultimate or final year of a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor degree.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence in law studies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and work ethic.
  • Pay attention to detail.
  • Team orientated.
