Typical Work Activities:
- Conduct legal research on tax regulations, statutes, and case law.

Key Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in law (graduate or undergraduate), with a strong focus and interest in commercial law, taxation and business generally.
- A second degree in commerce is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Excellent research skills and the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
- Strong understanding and/or interest of tax legislation, regulations, and case law.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficiency in legal research databases and tools.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Typical Work Activities:
- Working in LEAP and managing the electronic opening of new matters and maintenance of LEAP cards and data capturing.
- Filing management.
- Archive and record management and co-ordinating the removal of archive documents offsite.
- Arranging document search and retrieval of archived files with offsite service provider.
- Attending to the scanning and renaming of documents to matters in LEAP accurately and efficiently.
- Providing general support to legal teams during periods of increased workload or high volume, assisting with tasks such as document preparation, data entry, photocopying, printing and scanning and general file management.
- Communicating with supervisors and team members to identify areas where additional assistance is needed offering support as required to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Cleaning the kitchen areas and ensuring that stock has been ordered.
- General office support, including photocopiers, stationery, kitchen orders, etc
- Management of general office maintenance
- Assisting all staff on general office support, including rounds, mail, deliveries, marketing assistance, etc.
- Answering phone calls, greeting visitors, managing incoming/outgoing mail and assisting with any urgent inquiries or tasks.
- Attending to clients who arrive during the receptionist’s absence, welcoming them, ushering them into boardrooms, offering refreshments such as tea, coffee, or beverages, and ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the boardrooms.
- Maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the reception area.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Team for tasks including invoice processing, debtor collections and filing of Trust Account documentation.

Typical Work Activities:
- Opening and preparing new files in accordance with the firms file opening procedures, including creating the physical and/or electronic file in LEAP.
- Undertaking the full suite of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions, from beginning to finish.
- Drafting correspondence, special conditions, contracts and vendor’s statements.
- Liaising with clients and other parties such as real estate agents, brokers, banks and developers in a professional and polite manner ensuring the firm’s brand is promoted in a positive way and to maintain strong relationships with referrers.
- Understanding of stamp duty exemptions/concessions and foreign investment review board requirements an advantage.
- Preparing invoices (including management of invoices sent to clients).

- Provide comprehensive legal advice and solutions to clients on intellectual property matters.
- Intellectual property and technology agreements, including commercialisation, research, royalty and licensing agreements, and website/software/application terms and conditions.
- Filing, managing and prosecuting trade mark applications (including oppositions, disputes, sales and licensing).
- Advice relating to privacy, financial services licensing, and competition and consumer law, and online content regulation.
- General corporate and commercial advice, including, shareholders agreements, employee share schemes, capital raisings, sales and acquisitions, contractor/employment agreements and NDAs.
