JULIA ZISOS

Julia is a corporate and commercial lawyer, who has a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, shareholder disputes, corporate governance, directors’ duties, and business structuring. Julia has worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from ASX-listed companies and high net worth individuals to SMEs and charities. Julia started her career with WRP Legal & Advisory in 2015.
Her recent experience includes:
- Advising on a $70 million sale of a health services provider to a national ASX-listed health insurance firm
- Acting and advising on a dispute brought by a multi-billion dollar global company against a high-profile tennis player client on the protection of a trade mark
- Acting in the $500m restructure of 60+ landholdings for South Australia’s largest commercial landholder
- Acting in the sale of an Adelaide-based meat processing facility to international buyers, including advising on FIRB implications
- Advising a large charitable organisation on its corporate governance framework, including a three-month secondment
- Acting for a large food processing client in their contract negotiations to build a multi-million dollar piece of equipment for an Australian-based international food organisation
- Acting for a multi-billion dollar multi-national e-commerce client in relation to commercial matters, including a multi-million dollar capital raise and upcoming IPO
